The application takes 10 minutes followed by air dry, for approximately 5 minutes.
Express tanning develops faster, you will rinse off after 2 hours for a light tan, 3 hours for a medium tan and 4-5 hours for a dark tan.
Regular tanning is rinsed off after 6 hours for a light tan, 8 hours for a medium tan and 10 hours for a dark tan.
Pre-Care
• Exfoliation is key to a smooth long lasting natural tan. It is recommended that you exfoliate your skin evenly and well. It is advised to use either an exfoliating sponge/glove or products that don’t contain any oils, otherwise the oily barrier can stop the skin from absorbing the tanning solution.
It’s NOT advisable to roughly scrub on skin, not only does this strip your skin from natural oils and amino acids but also causes micro tearing which damages your skin in the long run. We stock the perfect body exfoliator, which is fabulous for prepping the skin, quick removal of old tan.
• Hair removal shaving, or waxing should be performed at least 24 hours before the appointment.
• After showering do NOT apply any products to your skin, no moisturiser, deodorant, perfume or make-up. With exception If you suffer from dry feet, you then may apply a thin layer of cream to them.
• Wear a dark G-string, loose clothing, and sandals.
After Care
• Wear soft lose fitting dark clothing.
• It is best not to wear a bra after application.
• No swimming or any physical activity that may cause perspiration.
• If something happens to spill, or splash, or rain on your tan pls gently dab it dry immediately.
• Don’t apply products to your skin during the desired developing time.
• Once your tan has developed to just darker than your desired shade you may shower.
• After showering, pat your skin dry with your towel rather than rub so as not to prematurely fade the tan.
Apply a nourishing moisturiser twice a day to maintain and extend the longevity of your tan.
Avoid bathing in chlorinated pools.
