Microshading Ombrè Brows

This is a semi-permanent make up treatment where tiny dots of quality and trusted pigments are implanted into the skin creating a soft shaded look resembling a shadow. The result is more symmetrical, defined and fuller eyebrows.

Our trained and experienced technicians use a handheld machine and lightly implant pigments into the skin using a needle.

For Ombré Brows the technician ensures that the beginning and top of the brow is lighter and gradually densifies downwards and towards the tail. To create a soft, most natural boarder-less defined brow.

The 2.5 hour process is to evaluate, discuss shape and choose desired shades. Thereafter you are numbed with topical anesthetic. Then we mark and draw the brow, checking and adjusting the shape before beginning the brows. For your comfort, when required we numb throughout the procedure. The results can last approximately 2 years after touch-up, fading in density over time.

FAQs

No it’s not painful you are numbed with effective anesthetic before and during the procedure. Most clients don’t feel anything while others describe it as a light scratch.

Brows will take 4-6 weeks to completely heal.

It’s best not to exercise for 3 days after a semi permanent make up procedure. Any warmth and perspiration on or near the area can delay and will affect your healed result.

No you can’t swim, as the treated area should not get wet until it has flaked off.

The treatment typically lasts 1-3 years depending on if the touch up was done, skin type, lifestyle and age. To maintain a fresh brow look, a long term touch up is suggested every 12-18 months.

Results will vary from client to client. It is normal for them to be slightly different after the first session as no two sides will heal exactly the same. A touch-up is usually recommended to also ensure results are even and long lasting. If you are happy with the brows after the first session, you may not need a touch up. Going forward, to maintain them you will need a long term touch-up every 12-18 months.

When you have previously worked on brows, kindly send through your pictures for us to advise. If we can’t see the pictures clearly, a consult is required and your options will be discussed with you in the consultation.

Should you withhold that your brows have previously been done and arrive for a new brow appointment with previous permanent make up you will be liable for the full appointment you booked but your brows won’t be done. You instead will have a consult and or possible removal of your existing brows, in order for us to work on them once they have lightened, removed and healed.

Why don’t we work over previous work not done by us. Over saturation or density of leftover pigment of the previous work limits what we can achieve, if we cannot guarantee or be 100% satisfied with the outcome we prefer not to initially proceed with more permanent make up until the existing is lightened or removed. Variations of pigment and techniques of previous work, will result in inconsistent results when applying our own pigment and technique.

We offer different laser lightening and removal options. Please send us your pictures for us to advise what we recommend.

2 weeks after non-invasive laser and 8 weeks post-invasive laser.
